Sgt. “Stag” Stagnaro was one of the dumbest bosses ever. He talked slowly, used small words and you could usually guess where his sentences were going well before he reached the end of them.
He was like a human Mad Lib. If you ever interrupted him and completed the sentence, you were almost always right. Almost always.
After yesterday’s narcotics raid, we were giving Stag the usual shit. His came back with, “Why don’t you guys all go—“
“Fuck ourselves?” I interrupted.
“‘Go home early’ is what I was gonna say,” Stag said.
Like I said, we were almost always right.
